The dealer believes 2 sleeves in the valve train came out trashing the motor. Repair cost is so high it makes more sense to put in a new motor.

Kioti has reviewed my case and will offer NO help.

I live in a large dairy area and I would bet there are over 30 tractor is within 3 miles of our home. I have talked with a number of different brand dealers and they have all guaranteed me that if something like that happened with the brand they sell a new motor would be installed free of charge.

it's just Kioti- "I have talked with a number of different brand dealers and they have all guaranteed me that if something like that happened with the brand they sell a new motor would be installed free of charge." now that makes sense, a manufacturing defect like that should be covered!..

The " other brand dealers" are making promises on an out of warreny repair that they do not have control over unless they themselves will pay for the repair and that is not going to happen.

Our John Deere dealer gave us a new engine out of warranty; failure of a replaced thermostat. Shop Foreman was the driving force behind the end result.

I agree, few dealers give a crap about reputation. Because that's REAL. Everything nowadays is about hype, marketing and BS! Like, waste peoples time on HOLD but have a recording telling them how much they matter!

Another popular one. Advertise how EXPERT your employees are, and then have total dummies work on customers stuff.

I know a company that claims factory trained technicians. One guy, who isn't even there anymore once visited the factory seven years ago!

Not cynical. Just stating my observations from where I live. Relax.

This just in from a client:

Reminds me I showed Mike what you posted on that Kioti tractor. We looked at that brand this summer and we’ll, now it’s off our list for a future tractor upgrade.

The Internet is not a friend of poor service.
