Buying Advice Buy now or in February?

Interesting take on the timing.

I'll also have to look into the Equine programs as we have a horse and my wife belongs to the USEF and USDF.....of course they have partnerships with JD not Kubota unfortunately.

That IS NOT a nice descriptive term to use when referring to your wife!

I signed up for the free 1 year membership for the national cutting horse association. if you haven't been a member for 3 years its free for the first year. pretty much all the horse associations qualify. I found a list on facebook that a kubota dealer posted.. here are the associations they listed:
NCHA (national cutting horse association)
AQHA (American quarter horse association)
USEF (US equestrian Association)
AHC (American Horse Council)
APHC (Appaloosa Horse Club)
TWHBEA (Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and exhibitors association)

the only free one is the National cutting horse association. others start as low as 25.00 . the NCH is a non competing membership but still qualifies for the kubota incentive.

good luck!

I was going to purchase in march but with covid heavy in ny where i am i held off. I guess the right choice would be wait till February and hope for the best thank you

If you need the machine to make money then you are losing money by not having it.

Trying to time the market is a gamblers fallacy. If you need zero percent financing and it's not available now you can wait for the next round.

Well this is good news......we have been members of USEF for years.....about time the horse started paying US back a little.....(of course my wife would put me in the stall if she saw this).

Crap......so that isn't something Kubota runs every year for the equine orgs? I believe the "Green" company has their partnerships year after year.......and no I don't want a Green Machine.......

Having just received my quote today including the Equine discount benefit, I can tell you that by the time the dealer adds back freight and prep, which are normally not included in quotes, the effective out the door discount is much less than 20%. The price I was given with the Equine discount was about $800 different that what the dealer first offered outside the Equine program. Still $800 is still real money.

Does one have to (currently) own a horse, in order to legitimately qualify for the 20% discount? What if you ride the horses the farmer boards across the road? Funnily enough, our hay is hayed by that neighbor, in part for his horses.
