I bought a fixer-upper L3250 a couple years ago. Runs great but was a bit ugly. This summer I decided to paint it. Jay4200's tip about Lobster Red came at the perfect time. Took off the most rusted parts for sandblasting & priming. A HVLP sprayer worked well with factory Orange II paint on a lot of it. But between the sheet metal and the loader there are a ton of surfaces. So the rattle cans made a big difference for doing small areas and missed spray directions. The color match is good enough I can't tell anymore which is which. The wheels had been replaced at some point so didn't need doing. If you are thinking of doing a tractor paint job, it takes longer than I thought it would. But from 10 feet away it looks decent.

Looks great. Now if we could only buy Lobster Red in quarts I would be happy.

I know the struggle of it not being easy I started the beginning of the summer and I'm not nearly close to being done
