Ive got 2015 xr4040 full set of manuals, what year is your tractor? Not sure if the 4046 was a 3 cylinder or not.

The ECU controller fuse 5 amp will blow if there is a new fuse in for the fuel shut off, they will both blow. If just the ecu controller fuse is new with a blown fuse in for the fuel shutoff, the ECU fuse will not blow.

I've got the same problem with my 2015 XR 4040h. The fuel shutoff fuse keeps blowing. After a lot of diagnosis I decided to take the ECU apart, sure enough the board has a quarter size burn mark under the capacitors. Did you find a reasonable priced ECU replacement?

I have a 2015 XR4040H that's been a great unit for over 1000hrs. Recently it shut off right after starting. I found that the fuel shutoff fuse 10a and the engine controller fuse 10a were both blown. I replaced both and bothe blew again. If I replace the engine controller fuse and turn the key on...
