I would be happy with one like the 60s and 70s with a standard cab, 4×4,long bed with a V8 and 4 speed manual.

I use a quick hitch therefore I don't use them much but I do keep a few extra just in case.

I would go for the MF if it was me. That is if you have a close dealer. We had a couple MF's going up on the farm. We always had good luck with them.

Yes,that cutter is too much for that tractor. But I believe that a 6 footer is required to clear the tracks on that tractor. I actually was considering a MF 1840M when I bought my tractor. It's got the same footprint as the 1735. I decided against it due to that reason.
