Log Splitter hydraulic ram fitting broke off.

That is good advice, yes, I have, thanks.

Log Splitter hydraulic ram fitting broke off.

Thanks, been beating on the ring with every little cold chisel, nail set etc to get it to move with zero luck. Really eating up the groove. The space to get into this thing is maybe an 1/8". I really think this is the worst design there is. I have sprayed it down several times over the last few...

Log Splitter hydraulic ram fitting broke off.

I am trying to remove the end cap on this 5"cylinder. It has a collapsible internal ring with about a 1/2" gap to allow this to happen, problem is, it simply will not release from the cylinder and with no holes like a snap ring would have, it is nearly impossible to get a bite on it. Plenty of...

    Kioti ck3510 loader issue

Pretty sure it is all in the hydraulic control valve. Just reducing line size still won't change pressure directly.

Log Splitter hydraulic ram fitting broke off.

That is a good point about going to a local hydraulics shop. We have a place that basically builds hoses immediately. They are expensive but they are as close to the original configuration as possible. They check everything from the angle the fittings are to the exact length. All of the pieces...

Log Splitter hydraulic ram fitting broke off.

That is where I ordered it. The shipping is not free, I am still waiting for it. FedEx is so stinkin slow. Shipping was $7.02, part was $3.85.

Log Splitter hydraulic ram fitting broke off.

Good to have a link to that website. The ORB you mention would be better in most situations. In my case the valve is attached directly to the hydraulic cylinder via NPT.

    Kioti ck3510 loader issue

Installed the Prince flow restrictor on the dump line. Works perfect, super easy to install and an inexpensive solution to FBS. Thanks a ton Stan. If I am not mistaken, Kubota approaches it differently. I think they actually send fluid slightly pressurized to the opposite cylinder to eliminate this.

Log Splitter hydraulic ram fitting broke off.

That is what I am going to do. Just as pictured in the post from George. Much better way to do it, I agree.

Log Splitter hydraulic ram fitting broke off.

I understand what you mean. Here is the closest thing I found to what this log splitter has on it. I probably could weld that on but just not sure if the carbon content will provide a suitable weld...

    EXACTLY, thanks a ton.

Log Splitter hydraulic ram fitting broke off.

Trying to replace the hydraulic valve and the welded on 1/2" NPT male thread fitting broke off. Where can you get a weldable female flange to replace this poor design? I have tried Surplus Center. It is on the rod end so it is for the return of the ram.

    Kioti ck3510 loader issue

Without a doubt I am doing this. It drives me nuts. On the other hand, I discovered something pretty cool on the 3510 this morning. When mowing with my flail mower (first time with this tractor) I realized in PTO auto mode it will turn the PTO off when you raise the 3 pt hitch past a certain...

    Kioti ck3510 loader issue

Thanks for enlightening us Stan. I have a question perhaps you can do some more enlightening on. I would think the flow control would be in the other direction of the picture you posted, full flow to curl, flow control to dump but the picture seems to suggest the opposite.

ck3510se, hydraulic leak somewhere on 3pt valve area

Where is the flow control valve installed? That is the biggest difference between my previous Kubota's (4 in total) and their regenerative circuit and the Kioti.
