My dealership says that it looks like the brakes pads are delaminating. $2500-3000 to repair. This on a tractor with 320 hrs! Trying to find out if Deere will cover this due to the low hrs. The tractor is a 2014 so that may become an issue.

Update. I took the sample to my Deere dealership and they agree that it looks like either brake of clutch material. They are giving it to a service rep from Deere for analysis. The service manager agrees that it is unusual for this to occur in a machine with only 310 hours. Im hoping that Deere...

There are only brake pedals, no emergency brake. There is a park position on the transmission. The earlier versions had the same setup.

There is no parking brake on this tractor, it has a park position in the transmission.

They are wet brakes. I’m going to give the sample to Deere to see what they think.

I did replace a shifter boot last winter but there didn’t seem to be a way for dirt to get into the transmission, the linkage seemed pretty tight. The tractor is very clean and stored inside.

The only attachment I have used is the dealer installed loader. Never been off the machine.

The work fine, although they do groan a little if the tractor has been sitting for a while. Goes away with a little use.

Could it be from the power reverser clutches?
