EA grapple not an option now what?

I have the first one, only brush & trees here, & post hurricane clean-up is main duty, so with the LS weight challenged FEL, I wanted capacity more than indestructibility (I have a welder). https://www.americanattachments.com/skid-steer-attachments/economy-root-grapple-60/...

EA grapple not an option now what?

No problems with my American Attachments root grapple. Got a set of forks from them too. Various weights and styles, just need ssqa.

Anyone Replace an LS starter switch?

Like the title says ... wondering what the common symptoms were, if any. Mine as follows: Was doing grapple work without any problems, then noticed the hydraulics getting wonky (sticky/jerky movement, not smooth like usual), so I head towards the shed figuring I may need to top off Hydraulic...

Lifting a 85" TV over Fireplace

If you already have a drywall lift, why not "work smart"? I'd probably wrap the screen in a blanket or something to keep from scratching. Just be careful transferring from the lift to the wall bracket, since at that height you're at least halfway up a ladder or standing on chairs to do the...

Will cutting brass with steel cause a spark?

After unscrewing the valve, you can fill with water to displace the propane. Then an angle grinder can be used on the tank body. Like Blue knife said. Lots of good uses (including a cheap DIY forge) so don't just junk unless you have absolutely no use for it.

    Anybody still use CB's?

I keep a CB in everything that might pull a trailer for long-distance trips. Pretty much only used when there's an accident or other road blockage to get a handle on which lane I want to be in to get through the fastest (or the detours the big trucks are taking). I'll usually turn up the squelch...

    Starter not engaging flywheel?

LOL ... I donate the prize to the one that solves the next tractor related problem. Glad it's fixed & everyone have a good weekend.

    R3039 battery

Mine was a group 24 (if I remember Correctly) Like ptsg said, just pull it & take it in to make sure the terminals are matched & you won't have to deal with core charges and credits. FWIW, I've had good luck with Autozone Duralast AGMs & NAPA Legend AGMs as well.

2009 BX 2660 traveling/parking brake won't spring back without manual adjustment

Any chance you bent the linkage pulling the wheel? Given all the other stuff you were working on, it seems unlikely you have two unrelated problems (electric and brake). Maybe when you were checking the safety switch on the brake?

2009 BX 2660 traveling/parking brake won't spring back without manual adjustment

My LS started doing that on parking brake after hurricane Ian flooding. Im guessing it's corrosion on a pivot point, but I haven't dug into it yet since a little jiggling frees me up. Any adjustment nuts for return spring tension?
