Hydraulic side link for JD 3520?

I bought the top link from Brian and Fit Rite and he was great to work with and the product works well. I am wanting to add a hydraulic side link, but can't swing the ~$600 price tag. Anybody put one of the together from scratch? How does it work/what did it cost?

Tightening up slop in tube gate hinge???

I guess a picture is worth a thousand words, so... Canted Straight and level when closed Droops when closed while level closed. Bottom bolts is pushed out to allow for slack in the hinge. Better view of bottom bolt pushed out. You can see that I have the bottom bolt screwed out to...

Tightening up slop in tube gate hinge???

I installed a 16' gate across my driveway and an automatic gate opener. Works fine, except... As it hangs across the driveway, it is plumb and level. When in the fully open position, because of the slop in the tube gate hinge the end drags the ground. The opener is strong enough to overcome...

    Subsoiler for burying PEX

Looks good, but I'm not sure it would bolt up to the Fred Cain subsoiler I found. ASC says it works with 3 Point Subsoiler-Subsoiler Attachment | Agri Supply #73410 Anyhoo, finished up all the backfill today. All the water connections are dry and all the electrical works fine. I did take the...

    Subsoiler for burying PEX

Works great. Made a few passes first and then pulled. Only hard spot was the first 10 feet and keeping the pex and wire from just pulling down the trench. Once I figured out to tie it off, it was fine.

    Subsoiler for burying PEX

That's what the thing hanging from the ROPS is for. The crossbar comes off and the roll of pex will hang from it. Are you saying the roll of pex won't spool off?

    Subsoiler for burying PEX

Found this subsoiler on Craigslist listed as a "1 row planter". Talked them down to $80. $20 worth of exhaust pipe from Autozone and I am hope to bury about 750' of 3/4 pex and about 500' of 12/2 UF with it. I will let you know how it works.

    JD 145 Won't start - Electrical issue

I have a JD 145, purchased from a Deere dealer about 7 years ago new. It has given me problems for about the last 5 years, where every year I'd have to replace the battery. If the tractor is run for several short periods, it just won't turn over, like the battery is getting drained down and...

    Steel siding retailers?

Stupid question. One of my next projects is going to be a run-in for the horses. I am stumped on where to buy metal siding though. Can't seem to find anyplace that retails the stuff. I need several colors to match my barn. I live in Virginia Beach. Any help?

    3520 owners - a little help, please

I was getting ERR 06 and so checked the corporate knowledge and found the thread on the MFWD sensor. So I went and checked it, only to find the 3 pins pulled out of the connector and just hanging. I know I am missing the plastic clip, but I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to...

Light spacing in pole horse barn???

Trusses are 4', but since it's a monument style, the center area above the aisle has a ceiling with the hayloft above it. The joists are every 2' with rough sawn pine decking and they run perpendicular to the concrete center aisle. They outside runs with the stalls go all the way up.

Light spacing in pole horse barn???

I have a monument style barn built that is essentially 36x36 on the inside. I have 3 12x12 stalls along one side, a 12' wide center aisle that is 12' high, 1 12x12 stall, a wash area and 12x12 tack room on the other side. I've got the meter base panel installed and wired (meter not yet...

    Not your average DIY...

Couldn't have done this without the tractor. Dug the holes with the 3ph auger and then getting the poles (one was 25' and one was 21') into the holes would have been impossible without the FEL and boom pole. Even had to use the grab hooks to tension the line. Taking the check ride was a...

    Pick a project

Well, I have been enjoying reading through everybody else's projects and haven't bothered to post any of mine. Sad thing is that I have so many going at once that they all sort off blend together. Got the barn built (I had it built, just not enough time to do it myself), now working on getting...
