Scotty you need a USB Cable from radio to PC. I believe it is an A to B cable for Icom. You also need to download and install the drivers from Icom. Icom Drivers Then just setup each software you want to use. I'm around if you need help.

Yes most do! Winlink is pretty simple with your radio just plug in the USB cable from radio to PC install Icom drivers and Winlink and away you go! I am always available to help setup if needed.

Drew My Radios all have a "MARS" button I use it twice daily actually AFMARS to be exact. Oh and a 780ft antenna works just fine for MARS!

Main reason I went to Kenwood was the free radio control and programing software they provide. I would buy Icom if I was buying new today though!

Hey what about me I have 2 Kenwood TS590SG stations. One here at the house and one remote station @6500 ft on the mountain! Remote is digital only and I control it via a 5ghz AREDN 2 hop link.
