57F and sunny @ 12:30, only heading up to around 60F for the day's high. Nearby LWS reports the low this morning was 37.9F.

The Frost Advisory that was issued yesterday remains in effect until 09:00 Friday morning.

Moved some 4 x 4 posts from out front around to the garden area, almost flipped the Kubota in doing so ... right rear wheel came up as I was moving diagonally down the hill on the east side ...

Will see if I can avoid doing that again.

Got another post set, braced, and tamped in:

By the time I was finished with that the sun was getting low and had gone behind the trees and temp was dropping ... and my nose was dripping.

Dropped another post and a couple of brace boards down at the south end before I called it a day and came on in.

Getting that one put in will likely be on the menu later today but I need to get more brace boards out of the barn.

Hopefully the area where that post is going in will get a little sun this afternoon ... otherwise it's probably going to feel a tad cool.

Another task that needs done is getting the horizontal brace trimmed to length and attached on the northeast corner post and the adjacent one I set yesterday. That area will be in the sun ... so it will likely be first on the agenda, while I wait for the sun to illuminate the southeast corner area.

But before I do any of that I need to get the feeders refilled for our little feathered friends.

Beyond that just see what else comes up.

Here’s how I start (and finish) fence staples. It will drive 2” 9ga staple as fast as you can pull the trigger.

Definitely the best fencing tool I have ever bought.

Yeah ... saw that when you posted about it previously.

Checked around here at the rental places to see if they had something similar available for rent, was kind of surprised no one did, given the high cost of entry.

I assume that the driving force is adjustable ... to control the set depth ?

Almost the entirety of my use would be to staple plastic insulator tubes to pass fence wire through ... so I definitely wouldn't want to overdrive the staples to the point where they mashed the tubes.

Have that stapler too but pricey. It works really well. I used it because my shoulder was injured and it was easy to trigger. Hard to pull the staples out though
rswyan, I have a roll of high tensile fence wire if you are interested

You can PM me the details (length of the roll, gauge, what you want for it etc.) ... but honestly not sure how that would work by the time cost of shipping is accounted for.

I believe I’m being misunderstood it not the count it’s the way it was done. Where this thread is now the ability to pick up new members to our group will be severely hampered and as members die off or leave they will not be replaced. The knowledge on this thread is huge.

Reminds me of what’s going on in my business one large group ran off all their old employees the new ones do not have a clue and their business is suffering mightily.

50F clear breeze feels brisk.

Workday pass quickly,have to sharpen my crayons and finish auditing reports tomorrow.
This morning notice motion detection light was on near the shed as approach pickup small cub appear with work gloves in the mouth and seems proud of find,I said in calm tone where you think your going with that,cub turn quickly look at me drop the glove bouncing while running pass mom got feeling this could be hand full of fun.
Plans for evening quick cigar enjoy the brisk evening all,watch NY Giants least to half time putting win together.

Yes it has a depth adjustment, but the force is constant.
