For anyone who may need to read codes on an XU5055 LS, Nexas NL102p will read and clear codes, may work on other models but can’t confirm.

If the actuators are working and you have room you could try running the machine back and forth or under load while steering one way or the other, may jar it loose depending on how bad it is, dry clutches can indeed be a pain, good luck with it.

Best I recall there are no solenoids on the pump but slave cylinders on the steering actuators, I believe those are dry clutches and if it’s sat any length of time they are probably frozen/rusted from moisture.
