Finally got out today and did about 4 hours of mowing, before I could only get about an hour before CEL and engine shutting down. I still suspect the dealer was full of it when they told me what they "fixed". First they said short through insulation (sales person) then before I got there and...
I bought a swisher 44 a few months ago not running and put a 22hp on it. Also I put a 12v electric actuator to engage the blades, works well with a dpdt switch. They cut good, mine easily handles 1in saplings. Grass it gets an ok cut but definitely not a finish mower
I guess the word system sounded like I wanted software that specifically makes things hard to repair. I'm saying I want fuel injection over a carburetor knowing it will be harder to fix but generally more reliable. I don't expect engineers to design it specifically to be easily repaired I expect...
I don't ever expect a manufacturer to go far out of their way to make it easy to repair their product, and in many cases I prefer an "advanced system" knowing it will be harder to repair. But I've had a few times a manufacturer has intentionally tried to make something non repairable. My first...
Those posts are not me, matter of fact I'm not as frustrated with the dealer as half the commenters seem to be. Lawyers are too expensive and lemon laws don't apply to tractors. Obviously KIOTI has alot of good units out there. I didn't get one (so far). Just wanted some "what would you do"...
A fair point deezler, I think my expectations are a bit high as this is my first foray into tractors. I buy machining centers frequently for my business. When I have a problem it gets solved quickly and I can get ahold of a factory tech 24/7. The other thing that bugged me is their insane lack...
Got to the dealer today. They did get KIOTI involved and ended up finding a short in the harness. I talked to a service manager at a different dealer and they mentioned it seems to be getting much worse QC lately since the dealers are short on inventory they're rushing units. Either way I'm out...
Hey guys, alot of good suggestions. I'm going up to the dealer on Monday to see what's going on with it in person. At this point I'm going to give the dealer the benefit of the doubt that they're backed up and trying. But KIOTI is worthless for not answering their phones or my emails to try to...
I was able to get into the OBD port but KIOTI has proprietary codes. Apparently they voided someone's warranty for posting them (alleged just saw this on another forum not sure if it's true). It's the same issue it was the first time, fuel pressure sensor. It will crank and start but loud fuel...
I tried that with the dealer, they're nice about it but won't offer any resolution other than sorry you bought a defective unit, we've never seen this before. And they're too busy to look at it right now. Unfortunately I bought the tractor cause I need it now. Heading to kubota to rent one today...
Hey guys, just bought my first tractor, KIOTI CK3510 HST and wanted to see if anyone has any better ideas to resolve problems with KIOTI. I bought it brand new off the dealer lot. Started it up for just a minute and drove it on my trailer. Got it home and the unit shut off and check engine light...
