Am I the only one that about gags when you get to enjoy diesel fumes in your face for a few hours. I didn't mind so much at first but I must be getting more sensitive to it. Maybe I need a tall stack. That will look a little silly on a BX.

Is the height adjustment on the mmm a mechanical stop or what? Why can I keep pushing the hydro lever forward and the mower deck goes all the way to the floor regardless of the height setting under the seat.

I notice that the mmm on my son's BX2230 does not drop or lift in one smooth operation like it should. As you move the lever either forward or backward the mower deck will drop or rise a small amount and then the lever will move back to center and to get the mower to move further to it's full up...

I was just wondering if the injector pump on a BX has oil in it to be checked or changed. I don't remember seeing anything about that in the book.

54\" ver. 60\" removal I have removed my 54" mmm, so I know how that goes but this weekend I will be doing the 50 hrs. hydro change on my sons BX2230 which has a 60"mmm. Is the removal of 60"mmm the same as 54"? Can I drain the hydro oil without removing the mmm? Thanks for comments.

I notice that the new BX has a 1/4" hyd. valve. Is previous BX hyd. valves just full up or full down with no way to stop in between?

When I turn the key to use the glow plugs after a few seconds I hear a clicking sound that sounds like a relay cycling on or off but the dash light stays on. It repeats the same thing every few seconds. Does the BX have a timing circuit on the glow plugs? If the dash light would cycle on and off...

Can I use the mower height knob as a position control for the 3PH. When the MMM drops to preset height the 3PH stops also (I think). Does it work the same when the MMM is removed? I'm talking BX series. Thanks for any info.

I can not get spindle shaft grease fittings to take any grease on either side of my BX 60" MMM. Can they be removed and cleaned or is it easier to replace them? Are they screw-in or press-in?

I am trying to figure out how to drain the oil from the gearbox on my MMM on my BX. It looks like you just have to let it drain out on the mower deck and mop it up. Is there a better way that I am missing?
