    Deere 72" 7iron Commercial deck interchange 3320 vs 4720

I have a 2008 Deere 3320 with a 7iron deck S/N M00072D340386, and my deck gearbox froze up today. Also the deck itself is still serviceable but getting in rough condition. I found someone selling a brand new 2008 7iron deck S/N M00072C340298 that was originally off a Deere 4720. The hanging...

    3 point bushing kit?

I have the same issue with my new Frontier box blade. It was bought from the JD dealer with the imatch bushings included, they sent the wrong ones and all the ones they make are too narrow to fit properly. Kind of a stupid problem to have.

    Terraced land

Be more careful mowing and learn the terraces. Then, mow along the terraces first and then the rest of the land later. Don't try to mow across the whole thing, it will just frustrate you. The terraces are an improvement.

    3pt log splitter

Not a chance it's that heavy. I cord of water (128cf) weighs just under 8000 lbs. Since wood floats and stacked wood has lots of voids, wood MUST be far less. My experience is about 2 tons (perhaps more when wet). I carry 1.5 cords regularly on my F350 with 8'x12' bed.

    3pt log splitter

Yeah, never understood that myself. In general, my plan is similar to yours. Cut wood into logs or firewood lengths near where the tree was, then load on my trucks dump bed immediately. I can EITHER split the wood here or near my firewood stack, but either way it's no an extra handling step...

    3pt log splitter

It looks like speeco is not making the splitter at all any longer.

    3pt log splitter

This is a good point and one I had not considered. I like the higher height of the 3pt splitter, most splitters are too low for me to work comfortably. Never considered being able to roll it. Maybe I don't need the lift arm, can just use the 3pt to lift the log!

    3pt log splitter

This is what I'm talking about. This is what is supposed to be a good medium duty splitter...I'm just not a fan of picking up the wood and moving it every stroke. Also, it would only have full force in one direction. I'd just as soon have it retract with the detent valve while I'm repositioning...

    3pt log splitter

My question wasn't one of efficiency or whether or not I want a 3pt splitter.

    3pt log splitter

I had a standalone and sold it for a reason. I tend to put it away and not use it for 6 months at a time, it never started for me, needed constant carb work even with non ethanol gas. The tractor gets used all the time. I don't care about the cost of fuel.

    3pt log splitter

I recently sold my gas powered log splitter and am in the market for a 3pt log splitter. It's going on a Deere 3320. I've already installed Power Beyond on it, so it should be an easy thing to use. I would like a log lift and WOULD NOT LIKE the two way cutting edge. I had been thinking that I...

Is it possible to be objective for a moment about Mahindra? Question relating to career change

They are a pretty big company that’s been trying to get a foothold in the US for sometime. I got a price on a Mahindra when I was looking at my last John Deere. I didn’t buy it because they were virtually the same price and I already had a relationship with the John Deere dealer which was...

Is it possible to be objective for a moment about Mahindra? Question relating to career change

I’m considering a career change. I saw a recently that a Mahindra dealership is opening up near my house. There are John Deere and Kabota dealerships but they are all a minimum of 30 minutes away. Ive owned both John Deere and Kubota so I kind of know what they stand for. I’m in sales now and...
