NWS says it's 68° here at 4 a.m. and going for 81° today (Wednesday, 9/22/2023).

We had a great HAPPY THANKSGIVING with our daughters, son-in-law, and granddaughter with as fine a meal as you could imagine . . . and enough leftovers for a long time.😀😀 And now it's raining right now and while not forecast to be a lot of rain, it's supposed to be a rainy day all day.

I didn't even know they were having that show at that airport. I haven't been there in quite some time and I'm sure much has changed. My office was there way back when I was commander of the police helicopter section which, as far as I know, is still based there.

Had my right knee replaced 12 years ago, and like Randy, a few days in the hospital, and then had to go to a physical therapist for a while. I would not want to go through that again . . . BUT . . . that knee is still just fine. But now the other knee is giving me trouble and I'm not at all...

Yep, Brandi, sure glad to see that old hot summer over. Of course this morning the low is 68° calm and going for 98° with a 5 mph west breeze.:(:( The last weather forecast I saw indicated we might get some relief next week.

Good pictures, Brandi. And we didn't get as much rain as you did, but we sure enjoyed the end of the drought around here. I got more than an inch and a half of rain and a 40% chance forecast for today.

I THINK (can't remember for sure) that I could do all those things just fine when I was 60. But now that I'm 82 . . . . Well, my balance ain't so good anymore.

I had enough experience with a windmill, as our primary source of water, from the time I was 10 years old until I was 14 that I've had no desire for one again.🤣🤣
