Yeah, I guess there might be times when I’d need it up front. If I do, I’ll use my 3rd function like you said.
Mostly I see using it as a cheap logging winch to pull logs to the trail so I can skid them back to the yard.
Does the remote lever by your seat control the winch? Or do you pin it...
Now THAT is cool...and only $27?
Looks like it measures distance, not angle but that would be fine. If you know your tilt cylinder has a 4" stroke and you've set it to be level (centered) at 2", this DRO would give you a real reference as to where you are relative to min/max of the cylinder...
When setting your tilt you don’t actually need the true value (level, 5*, 10*, etc)
All you need is a reference. So if the implement is “level” with the tractor (both side links the same) the Lev-o-gage might read 5* if you’re already on a slight slope. If you want to add crown, tilt your...
I do have RimGuard and ended up going with the 84. That thing is massive. Weighs in around 750#
Probably won’t get to use it till spring and with the TnT it’ll be interesting to see what it’ll do
Just curious why you went through 4 box blades. Not wide enough? Still not wide enough? Not heavy...
I noticed a while back that you posted that you'd replaced the stock single armrest with armrests on both sides of your NX
I think you said you have a cab model. I've got an open station that doesn't come with any armrests and I'd like to add at least one on the right side, if not both sides...
Has anyone used leak detection dye to make it easier to see the fluid level on the dipstick?
Will it harm anything?
I’ve tried painting the bottom inch or so of the dipstick but it doesn’t help much.
I guess this thread has become a bit of a “Box Blade vs Land Plane” discussion in addition to appropriate sizing.
Having recently moved up from a Bobcat CT 2025H (CK 2610H) I’m thrilled to hear that the 5010 will pull a full 84” box with ease (in “M” ?!? Wow).
It seems that a land plane does...
Outside to outside rear tires (R4s) measures around 73.
Would the 84” BB be overkill?
Would it be too big to maneuver?
The road is fairly straight, but like anything else, I’m sure I’ll find other uses for it.
