TYM - T474HC My next work partner.

I still have the JD 3320R. It's a low HP tractor for it's frame and the T474 is a high HP tractor for it's frame.

TYM - T474HC My next work partner.

I’ve had my T474 a couple of months now. It is used for logging. I don’t know if there is anything more demanding on a tractor - moving heavy logs, pulling stumps, running a chipper. I’ve learned I need to be easier with it than I was on the John Deere. I’ve already bent the loader mounts, but...

    TYM parts

Yes on the 20 series but I in the woods 80% of the time and I want the smaller size. Georgia Land Equipment got a tractor sale today. They will deliver it to me next week.

    TYM parts

Wow! I called Georgia Land Equipment because they are 2.5 hours away and if I had to I could make that drive or even buy the tractor from them. They gave me the price over the phone and said it would be at my door in 2 days. For everyone that replied - thank you.

    TYM parts

I was very close to buying a T474 to replace my John Deere 3320R but I did an anonymous call to check on getting parts. I am going into day 3 and they can't even give me a price on the part much less availability. I asked what was going on and they said they have to call in each request to...

    3320 faster in reverse

Problem solved. I had to calibrate the sensor under the pedal.

    3320 faster in reverse

About 3 MPH off in "B". I have not tested "C".

    3320 faster in reverse

My 3320 ehydro has been loosing MPH. The manual says in range "A" at 2600 RPM I should run at 3.8 MPH. I have tested range "A" and "B", both fail the test unless I run in reverse. The best I got in range "A" was 2.6 MPH. It is due for a fluid change but it is not over due or low and the air...

Has anyone had problems yanking stumps out with an eHydro?

I occasionally will use a logging chain connected to the back of my 3320 to pull a stump up. Has anyone had any transmission problems related to this? Sometimes a little momentum is required.

    Error code 12 on 3320

My 3320 HST has an err 12 code. No forward or reverse. The speed sensor was unplugged but had been for a long time. I think what took me out was the throttle sensor plug got knocked off. When I found that I plugged it back in but still no go. My thoughts are that the Drive Controller got...

    Grapple lever down to open?

I have a separate lever to open and close my grapple. Is there a standard for which way I should hook it up. If I push the lever down should it open or close?

3320 grinding noise when in 4wd and no power on front wheels

I felt a slight jerk from my 3320s transmission. I stopped and checked everything, saw no problems and continued on. I was in 4wd and tried to go over a 4" log later on but the front tires would not move and there was a popping sound like gears not engaging. When selecting 2WD the jerk was gone...

    Grapple  Grapple weight

I have a John Deere 3320 that I would like to put a Root Grapple on. I like the design of the Faver products. The problem is they are heavy and may be over kill for my tractor but I am hard on my equipment. The one that I am looking at is 619 lbs. Is that too much my my loader? I an not sure how...

Heavy duty Howse Bush Hog broke a blade at the bolt hole.

Heavy duty Howse Bush Hog broke a blade at the bolt hole. How common is this? I even have a clutch on the shaft. I was cutting some saplings in the woods and had run over some Poplar limbs about 2" in diameter when it came off.

Log or wood hauler for box blade

This was a quick project that has really been helpful for me getting logs out of the woods. There is a limit to what the tractor will lift. It works well for pine and light weight logs or small diameter heavy logs. I can get into very tight places with this setup and not tear up the ground and...
