    Stove Pipe

Just to echo some of what others have said, chimney pipe is stupid expensive. Last year, I installed a wood stove in our 1900 sq ft basement b/c my son was living there at the time and the propane heater was costing us $600/ month to heat it. My son joined the Army halfway through the project...

    Who rides motorcycles?

My friend had a KLX300 (with the bigger piston kit) and a CRF250 at different times and I rode both a good bit. Both are great bikes, but you are 100% correct that the Honda has better aftermarket support. We remapped the FI on the CRF and it really woke it up while maintaining reliability.

Yes, yes you are. In 9 days I hit my 20 year mark on TBN. My posts per day are a little less than .0423. I do way more reading than I do posting.

Strange things found in the forest

I noticed on the first page of this thread an article talking about abandoned train engines in the woods. Here in the Rockies, we have the caboose. I haven't gone to check it out, but a motorcycling buddy told me the story. They were riding motorcycles way back in the mountains, through thick...

What current member has been with TBN the longest?

I feel like a young buck compared to some of you old farts. Like someone earlier mentioned, I joined when we moved onto property for the first time and was active learning and participating. Then 11 years later we had to move back to the city. Nine years later and we are back on property.

    Shooting range

These are maximum ranges, not ranges at which the bullet can penetrate a house and/or kill someone. Especially the pistol rounds.

    Shooting range

That is not the same thing. In the article you quoted, the guy shot into the air. The bullet will achieve terminal velocity coming back down which is enough to kill someone. Shooting horizontally the bullet begins to lose velocity the moment it leaves the barrel.

    Skid Steer Mower Width

If you put it in float, then it shouldn't put too much pressure on it - I think, somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

    Skid Steer Mower Width

Flail mowers are great for grass and thin branches. Not so much once you get above about 2-3".

Milwaukee Grease Gun & grease question?

I have carpal tunnel, so too much use of the manual grease gun puts my hand to sleep. But I do hear ya on the exercise.

    how small is too small?

Pretty much what Hersheyfarm said. If you have the money and want it, buy it. I bought a skid steer b/c I wanted one. Didn't even have property or a reason to buy one. I kept it at a friend's house until I eventually bought some property. Now, it's invaluable. I almost bought a mini-ex at...
