What is some of your Pet Peeve's

Pet Peeves include: People who say that there's no such thing as a stupid question, there is plenty of evidence to suggest otherwise, People who post questions in online forums when the answer is readily available by searching for a few seconds, People who post the same question that's...

    Deere Cool-Gard II equivalent

If you drain and flush the system you can switch brands of coolant. I'd look for a name-brand long-life diesel antifreeze as a replacement.

    How to level undulating land?

I'd start with this, then transition to a disc followed by a chain harrow if desired, multiple passes will likely be necessary. I don't think a plow will be all that helpful. 300 yd of topsoil should be plenty, you may find it necessary to refill areas as they settle.

    Removing a frontend loader for a BX2380

My decade-old B7800 was a one-person, two-minute (at most) job. A tip is to dismount the FEL on solid ground or better yet concrete, that way it doesn't settle making the hook-up a bit more involved.

    Insurance

In my area Farm Bureau is the only company that offers it, and then only if you have homeowners with them.

    Ordering tractor from dealership

If you worry that a Yanmar dealer wouldn't perform warranty work on a Yanmar tractor then you need to look at another brand/dealer or both. This was an issue for a particular brand of RV's the problem was that dealer service departments were being swamped with "warranty" repairs, most of which...

Insulation between studs or on top? Metal building

This is my recommendation as well. Plus it will be easier to install services later if you decide to go that way.

    LockNLube Easy-Prime Lever Grease Gun?

+1 for the Lock N Lube connector. I have a battery-powered Milwaukee and it works okay, when the battery dies I'll replace it with a manual grease gun. I can easily buy 3-4 guns for the cost of a battery. If you don't have a lot of greasing to do (e.g., multiple tractors, combines...

    You Have a Cab?

Hell yeah, I have a cab, it only took two NC summers to realize an open-station tractor was just stupid.

    3pt Wood Chipper Recommendation

I have a Bearcat that works fine for stuff up to 5", it will feed itself once started. I went with Bearcat because it has a hopper to deal with brush. I wouldn't be looking forward to chipping whatever is cut from a 10-acre stand though, it's a lot of work to generate even a modest pile of chips.

    Massey Mid-Mount mower

I can't comment on that model, but after owning a mid-mount I recommend thinking about how often you expect to attach/remove the mower deck. Keep in mind that blade maintenance will require removing the deck unless you have a pit. The Kubota I had required a fair amount of time under the...

    Massey 1800M options

I have a W R Long 3rd function kit, installed by the dealer before delivery, works fine.

Why are Massey ferguson and Yanmar so much more than TYm for what seems like less??

One could ask the same question as to why Deere and Kubota are more expensive than a better-equipped MF. I don't have any reasons to add to what previous posters have identified. For me, it came down to the dealer. If TYM floats your boat go for it.
