Isn't a sump line and a return line the same thing? Only difference is the return line feeds less used (returning pressure) to the sump and the sumps suction kills any pressure pushed in by the return line?

Here is what I believe you are talking about circled in red. It's a hex capped pointing downward. The white is the return line flush allen head port.
Do I need a diverter plug in it if I'm not using it in a "rear remotes" setup and just using it as a "power beyond" style?
