No this tractor has an old analog meter like the odometer in cars. I would buy one of those digital ones but they're significantly more expensive for a diesel. The gas ones I have seen use an inductive spark pickup but that won't work on a diesel. I suppose I could use one that just ticks when...

Mine has 2400 on the meter and the meter isn't working anymore. You can tell from the loader pins it wasn't properly cared for but it runs like a top. At that low hours yours should have PLENTY of life left!

My understanding is the synchronized version is column shift and the non synchro was floor shift. That's what I read when I was looking at them to buy.
