The manual calls for "JD all weather hydrostatic" or type F automotive ATF. What's in there now is reddish looking ATF. I'm thinking to drain and replace the filter. I run Valvoline maxlife (red jug) in my Honda and Toyota cars. Can I use that? I do also use low viscosity hygard in my JD4100.

Remote support would be key. Aside from major issues, I'm ok doing the work myself, but I don't want to hassle around pricing and shipping parts. If I'm going to buy remote, I need a dealer to help troubleshoot and not dally and haggle with getting the parts. TX is probably closer to me than...

One dealer I spoke with kinda dismissed the xx15s as "Branson" and not TYM. Even suggested they might not be available. By specs those have larger lift capacities. Not the yanmar engine I guess

Does anyone have a 4215? Any reason not to pick it over another TYM or other brand for a 35-40hp ?

Got it. I will have regen because I'm looking at 35-40HP. I think 2 posts above is the info I'm looking for. "The 4215 has regen. TYM diesels however are mechanical injection, so there is no ECM to hobble the engine if there is a DPF issue."

Do any current make or models not have the regen technology? Tym maybe? Im looking hard at a 4215H a 4 cy NA (non turbo).
