Isn't Case and Farmall basically the same company?

Could someone please tell me the difference between a Case 95X and a Case 95. We have one of each and some parts are interchangeable and some are not. Decals are the same on both tractors with the exception of the X after 95 on one of them. No local Case dealer can give me any information when...

Thanks for the info. I thought that I had exhausted all options, but knowing where and what to look for solved the problem.

I have a Farmall 95 that has the slowest down rate for the three point hitch. I have a 1000 lb snow blower attached, and from full up to full down takes about 15 or 20 seconds. Could someone tell me how to adjust the down rate.
