Three point down speed

I have a Farmall 95 that has the slowest down rate for the three point hitch. I have a 1000 lb snow blower attached, and from full up to full down takes about 15 or 20 seconds. Could someone tell me how to adjust the down rate.

There should be a knob in the operator's station under the seat. Turn it out to make the 3pt descend faster.

The knob may actually be a lever, it depends on the tractor. It is generally located centered under the seat. If tightened all the way it can prevent the three point from lowering at all. The three point is powered to raise but lowers due to gravity. You may choose the lowering speed for the implement being used.
