    Sharpening drill bits

Another thumbs up for the Drill Dr, I bought mine 10 years ago out if the USA and run it of a step dowd transformer, 240v to 110v. It's the best thing since sliced bread, and I can sharpen a drill by hand pretty well, but cannot beat the Drill DR!

    Oil feed to turbo

I have used new annealed copper and also tried aluminium crush washers. I have not tried loctite yet as I fear if that does not work or I ever have to remove it again I will shear the banjo bolt. This morning I have cleaned up the thread and removed all possible oil from both threads and...

    Oil feed to turbo

Hi, long time since I have been here but I am in need of help. An old well used DK50 has decided to not cooperate! On the near side there is an oil feed pipe that runs up to the turbo. I sheared the Banjo bolt trying to nip it up because it was leaking. I got the sheared piece out and turned up...

    Help downunder

Hi folks. long time no post! Recently I have had some troubles starting my old DK50. At first every time i went to start the tractor it was as if the battery had no life and the dash lights would go out when engaging the key. I suspected the switch was faulty so I replaced it, all went well for...

    Cheap parts

I am looking for a US dealer that could supply glow plugs for a DK 50 2001 model anyone got any suggestions? Locally here in OZ they retail for around $80, that seems to be a little over the top.

    Intelligent Design

I need more traction travelling over sand with my DK50. My problem is this though I also do about 50% of the tractor work on bitumen (tar, black, whatever you call it in the north). The list of tire options goes on and on eg. type of tread, loaded or not loaded yet there appears to be no really...

    liver Cancer

On the weekend I was travelling through an area that I left some 5 years ago. On the way through I decided I should stop and say g’day to an old friend that owns a service station. After chatting a while he told me he had just got out of hospital and that he had been in there for about 5 weeks...
