Rotary Cutter Bush hog Model 2[emoji[emoji6[emoji640]2][emoji640][emoji640]][emoji6[emoji640]2] Deck Repair

Being the welder I have is light duty, I may go this route. No sentimental value, just an equivalent bush hog is 3k, not really in the budget.

Thanks! I have a 110v wire feed welder from Harbor Freight. I fancy myself a decent welder if I hold my head just right [emoji23]

Rotary Cutter  Bush hog Model 2[emoji[emoji6[emoji640]2][emoji640][emoji640]][emoji6[emoji640]2] Deck Repair

As the photos show, my deck is in bad shape. This cutter is 20 years old and when the rust/rot started it took hold fast. I have acquired some steel plate 1/8” to make the repairs. What is the best option to cut it? I do not have access to a torch, but do have a grinder with metal cut off wheels...

    Trailer Tires

You may be on to something-the tires that failed on my horse trailer were in the sun. The other two were not and are fine.

    Trailer Tires

I have Goodyears now and unfortunately two have failed-broken belts. They are almost 5 years old and have about 10k miles. I realize they are close to end life, but am very disappointed in how they fell apart. I ended up ordering Kenda tires from etrailer.com at $146/tire (235/80/16). Great reviews.

    Trailer Tires

Looking for recommendations. 235/75/16 Load range E 10 ply for horse trailer. Prefer made in USA. Anyone use Carlisle? They seem to have good ratings

    Thinking about buying a Tahoe

Agreed. The cylinder deactivation is plagued with problems, the worst being lifter/engine failures costing consumers a fortune.

    Thinking about buying a Tahoe

I currently own 2 2015 GM products-a Yukon XL and Chevy 2500HD. The Yukon has 130k miles on it. Other than small repairs-lift gate latch and arms and temp sensor-it has been a pretty good vehicle. Bought it with 85k miles on it 3 years ago, one owner with good service record. My Silverado-bought...

    Nitro Ridge Grappler Issues

While I feel Michelin makes a good tire, their prices are too high. I just put 4 Good Year Workhorse HT 265/70/18 10 ply load range E tires on my 2500HD for $1280. The equivalent in Michelin was $2100.

    Nitro Ridge Grappler Issues

I bought my 2015 Silverado 2500 about 2 years ago with only 42k miles on the odometer. The tires on the truck, Nitto Ridge Grapplers, were nearly brand new. They, per the date code, were a late 2020 manufactured tire. Fast forward to now, I have put 48k miles on them. They have been well...

    No Bird since Sept 2023?

That is odd. Hope he is well.

    Bearing buddy-greasing intervals

How often do you grease? Our horse trailer will sit for a couple months then go on a pretty long haul of 300+ miles one way. I usually inject 2-3 pumps of grease before we go. Too much? Concerned about seal blow out, but do not see any signs of that. Thoughts??
