    It is 96" in total. If I move the rear pivot point in the top arm I could get a lot more. But I'm kind of burned out on building this thing so I'm happy to just use it as is.     Just a quick update, I've dug approximately 25' of trench approx. 3' deep in very rocky N.H. soil, dug around four 6" diameter maples and pulled the stumps with my truck. The backhoe is sized very well to my tractor. If there was more power in the backhoe I think I would use less finesse and...

    Making a hole! I have to reroute some hoses, tighten some fittings etc. But it's stuff I can do as I go.

    I put a 30' paint job on it and plumbed the hoses to the cylinders. I'm just waiting on the fittings to go from the valve to the hoses and I should be able to test run it.

    Starting to build a small backhoe for the tractor. I found a sketch of a 4pt subframe from Woods that I may try to fabricate to hold the backhoe. The plans I am using are from P.F. Engineering
