Sure. But if you use it around town or the local area, who cares about range. Just plug it in each night.

    Oops. Bad math. $.385 + $.184 = $.569/gal $.569/gal x 11,000mi/yr x 1gal/30mi = $208. This assumes equivalent of 30mpg gascar and 11,000 miles/yr average. So the $200 fee still seems not far off…….

$.18 federal gas tax times 11000 miles is $1980. So if 11000 miles is close to average (who knows this?) then our $200 fee is close.

It is true you can't just pull over any old place and charge your car. It takes some planning.... to charge where the chargers are. It is not impossible. You present a case where someone did not plan ahead. For those incapable of planning ahead, EVs are not yet for them. There is no right...

Charging stations are all over. Look at chargepoint.com. Finding one is not the issue. Time spent charging is.

Exactly the opposite here. In my hometown there is a “chargepooint” charger at the town hall parking lot. Rate is set by the local utility and is exactly the rate of daytime (on peak) electricity at my house. Also searching the “chargepoint” map, i find many FREE charging locations!!

    Rotary Cutter Sharpening the blades

Yep, sharpen mine every few years also. Sharper blades work better in the heavy stuff and take less tractor HP.........

Me too. I removed/changed/installed tires (from craigslist) myself and only had the local shop balance them for me - $40 plus tax for all 4.
