I went to re-install the 820TL on the TD75D as done a dozen times before and it didn't go just right. Loader was sitting outdoors on parking stands with 2x6's under stands and bucket blade. Attached hoses and couldn't get the rear to raise quite high enough to enter the bearing boxes, needed...
Does this mean that when cutting you have the tail wheel running continuously on the ground with weight on it? I don't think it's supposed to work that way. The top link should be able to raise the rear of the mower to the proper height, and the tail wheel should only lightly touch on uneven terrain
Are there not often (possibly) numbers stamped on the back of the moldboard that may give a hint via Google as to manufacturer and part number? Also, if you remove the share, there may be similar info stamped there on reverse side.
There is only 1 hole on the mower. On the tractor there are 3 holes, but I thought the lower 2 were for draft control. I could probably raise the back a little by using the lower hole on the tractor, but that would be draft sensing and I don't know if thats a good idea with the mower.
The hitch...
I am running a JD MX6 rotary cutter on my 5045D. Am I supposed to be able to fully shorten the toplink with all of the threads screwed fully in?
As it is, I can not shorten the toplink enough so that the rear of the mower is a few inches higher than the front when lowered to mowing height. It...
Thank you everyone. I got it to lower by loading several front-end weights on the hitch.
I purchased this tractor with 40 hours on it from a NH dealer about 12 years ago (was a demo) and it always seems to have had a problem with water in the transmission/hydraulic sump. In very cold weather...
I suppose it could be, should I try loading some weight on it, I have some front-end weights and barbell plates.
But if corrosion is a the potential culprit couldn't it also be rust in the control valve or some other internal passage?
I have a NH TD75D open station with about 1,000 hours. It was recently parked for about 2 weeks outdoors with the 3-point arms raised (it was being used on a wheel-lift pull disk).
Now with the disk and remotes unhooked the 3 point will not lower.
I should explain that the 3-point was only...
I have a New Holland 820 TL loader installed on 75 hp NH tractor.
I need to park the tractor indoors with the loader raised above another tractor. I've been doing this for 10 winters with no problems but as the equipment is aging (hoses, cylinders, etc.) I'm getting a little nervous about it...
I think I need to replace or repair the starter on my TD75. It's been acting up for the past year, where i would need to turn the key to start several times before it turns over. Eventually the key switch failed for the start circuit. But I was able to start it by jumping from the battery...
More than half the 50 state's now require DOT# for INTERSTATE as well.
P.S. You can also order an F350 SRW with 10,000 GVWR if that better meets your needs.
I have two 5 gallon plastic gasoline containers. One has about 4 gallons of ethanol free 91 octane in it, the other has 4 gallons regular 87 pump gas with ethanol 10-15%. Is there some way to figure out which is which since they got mixed up? I need to use the ethanol-free in the riding mower...
Does a TD75D have a start relay between the key switch and the low-current side of the solenoid? Or does the voltage to the solenoid come directly through the ignition switch?
