    Good morning!!!!

    wngsprd; I am so sorry for the loss of the family member. They leave pawprints on our hearts, that can never be erased. Their loss leaves a void, that only time can lessen, and even then, time is not always the great healer. You have my sympathy. {{{{wngsprd}}}}

    Good morning!!!!

Larro: I'll be mowing a lot of those "blooms" in my lawn, this coming weekend! That is when I'll find out how well me winter exercise program worked or didn't, since I push a mower around half an acre. (The rest of the property is mowed by livestock, or John Deere!)

    Good morning!!!!

Buppies; I was counting on those rain storms this coming Sunday! :D We need the rain desperately, and can forego any more cold, ice or snow for several more years! Thanks for looking out for us. I still think you get it right a LOT more often than any of the weather guessers around here!

Wayne; I will be hoping for the best posible outcome. Larro; Glad they caught the pharmaceutical issues in time! Everyone that I might have missed, I do hope all is well. Been a bit busy and unable to keep up lately.

    Good morning!!!!

Noon; 60* now, going up to 68! THIS is my kind of winter weather! I've got more wood stacked near the house, and hope to get more on the back of the farm truck tomorrow, and pull it into the garage. I am sure February will be horrible weather, so want to make sure that I am prepared in the...

    Good morning!!!!

Maybe our storms will be above freezing! Usually a strong El Nino sets us up for rainy weather, which would be most welcome after the past few years. A weak El Nino really doesn't do much to us, either way. Thanks, Buppies!

    Good morning!!!!

We were in the 60s yesterday, and supposed to get up to 75* today! I managed to get re-introduced to the garden hoe yesterday, and cleared out an 18 X 4 foot section of the garden, and worked compost in, as I went! I hope to do the same this afternoon. 42* right now, so I'll finish some...

    Good morning!!!!

52 heading to 70! Light mist falling, and is supposed to be rainy, most of the day. I hope so! I like the precip, when temps are warm!

    Good morning!!!!

Place it on a baking sheet, and drizzle it with a little Olive Oil. Sprinkle with salt and papper, or Lemon pepper, or seasoning salt, and place okra directly on a grill tray. (IOW, you remove it from the baking sheet.) I put my okra on the grill on the warming rack. Cook 5 minutes, then...

    Good morning!!!!

I LOVE okra! Wouldn't want to live without it. I grill it fresh in the summer, and make okra and tomatoes with fresh tomatoes from the garden. I feeze it, cut, ready for soups, and gumbo, and whole to boil and add to the black-eyed peas on New Year's. It is loaded with nutrients, and fiber...

    Good morning!!!!

I used to think the only way to eat okra was fried. I tried it grilled, and it s my very favorite way now. Can only do that with fresh, but tehre is zero slime. And if you are going to boil it, or put it in soup, make sure you have enough acid, and there will be no slime. Add vinegar to it...

    Good morning!!!!

41F here, going to 50! Wind chill is 33, but at least I don't have to break ice on water troughs, etc.! Go away, cold weather, and good riddance!

    Good morning!!!!

Not going to happen! I'd have a hard time in 110 degree summer heat, and I like my summer heat! I llived in Colorado for a year, and summer was too short, and winter too long. I want to garden a full 9 months out of the year, if not more! Y'all will still be freezing, when I am planting...
