    Replacing safety switch

There is no adjustment. Bypassing this one is not a safe thing to do. Some switches I will bypass. Some I won't. Yes getting to it is a booger. I think I"ll have to drop the hydro lines/filter down to get it out.

    Replacing safety switch

The clutch safety switch needs replacing on my Max 26XL. It looks impossible to get at. Has anyone changed this switch that can offer suggestions on how to get to it? Appreciate any help here.

    PTO sprayer or 12v

I have a 40 gallon fimco on my 739. It works well for my 2.5 acres. I welded a spring loaded return spool on the top and upgraded the sprayer wand. I love it. Though, I did replace the pump with a better one. Use the wand more than the boom, mainly because I'm spraying weed n feed and have...

    hydraulic dethatcher

My latest contraption creation. I picked up this dethatcher on Craigslist. It was missing some parts to the lift mechanisms. So, I thought I'd just make it hyraulic actuated. I welded together a frame that fits the front receiver on my garden tractor and ordered a hydraulic cylinder, hoses, and...

This a Gannon? Need to get a new acquision online

I have a similar Gannon. All the lever/spring parts were gone on mine when I bought. Maybe a slightly different model, as mine used a torsion spring. I could not find anyone that knew where I could get parts for the lift. So I just removed what was left of the lever and welded a handwinch on...

Blown head gasket? Can I use it?

I may have a blown head gasket. A lot of gurgling in the coolant reservoir and I've had to add about 1/2 gallon of coolant even though the tractor has just been sitting. Temp gauge, until now, has never risen above second dot at center of gauge. Now it goes up pretty high (not to red) and...

    belt squeal

Tractor just had a full service and going over. I just changed all fluids, and oil, hydraulic, gas, and air filters. Lubricated all moving joints with fluid film, and greased every zerk good. After getting rid of that after market filter that cost me so much time and money, I've been working...

hydraulic hose on main line to/from filter/pump

Today I changed the hydraulic fluid in my CK25 gear. When I started the tractor and began circulating the new fluid, the big hose (~27 mm ID) on the main line from the filter ruptured. I had to remove the backhoe, front end loader, and right side loader mount to get to it . Does anyone...

    Three point hitch stuck

Yesterday while using my backhoe to move some rocks, I look down and notice the platform is pushed up in the air. The 3PH arms are all the way up, jammed under the platform. Now I am aware that the 3PH can be raised to cause this. So, when the backhoe is attached, I use my lift stop on the...

Awesome loader mover still after 9 years.

My little Kioti continues to impress me with what it can do for its size.

    New X758 Coming

I like the way the sprayer sits up tight on the tractor. But, it's not big enough for me. I went with a 40 gallon femco, 10' boom on the 3PH. I welded a spring rewind spool of 50 feet of hose for the hand spray and welded on a piece of pipe to hold the wand. Those clippy things suck.
