I have a 24x24 concrete pad that a house previously sat on before I purchased the property. I have not yet checked if it has a 3 ft footing around the outer edges but IF it does I was wondering 2 things.
In New York can you :
- build a garage over an existing pad without permits because there...
I was wondering what everyones thoughts were about using/building a log splitter which uses a large screw and the PTO of the tractor like the one here YouTube - Tractor powered (PTO) log splitter by HyCrack. I have been told that you can not buy one of these in the united states which I can...
I was searching for a way to skid logs with my JD 2520 without having to leave the seat (lazy I know) and came across the attachment from Smallwoodlottools.com. Although I really liked the design of the attachment the price struck me as quite high. I have decided to take a swing at building my...
Jd 2520 finally got dropped off today. So far it has more than impressed me. Especially how easy the mower and loader come on and off. Only took me 10 min to take both off.
Signed the papers on a new 2520 with a 200cx FEL and a 62D MMM. Decided to go with a ballast box and R4's. Most of the summer it will be mowing about 7 acres with some FEL work and all winter it will be plowing.
Should be coming in about 2 weeks. Hopefully I don't wish I bought bigger. Bought...
This will probably be the last thread before I decide to purchase a jd 2520 with a 200cx and 62D MMM. Also the tractor will have wheel wieghts and a BB.
What does everyone use their 2520 for. I plan to use it for mowing, plowing, small scale logging for firewood and in the futer when I get a BH...
I'm in the middle of negotiating on a jd 2520. The dealer seems to lean toward loading the tires and says that this will not tear up the lawn while mowing with r4's. I would think that being as light as possible while mowing and as heavy as possible while doing loader work would be best. This is...
Finally went to the dealer today and looked at the 2320 and 2520. Leaning towards the 2520 unless someone on this forum can talk me out of it. I would be pretty upset it I got the 2320 and found that I just need a couple more horses for plowing and mowing. Anyway onto the quote.
- 2520 =...
I was on the deere website looking at financing options. One of them says "Save $200.00 when you buy a 2000 series with two attachments". Saving $200 while buying a 16k+ machine seems like a joke to me so I am leaning towards the 0% financing. The website does not say how long the 0% can be...
I was on deere.com and saw that there are two loaders available for the 2320, one being a 200x and the other a 200cx. I was just curious if anyone could explain the differences and why there is a sizable price difference between the two. Also, I see alot of people purchasing the 2320 on TBN but...
I was wondering which style tires would fit my needs best. I just purchased 10 acres in upstate ny and will soon be buying a tractor (jd 2320) as well. The land is on a long hill meaning that the rain water runs off the top but begins to sink in near the bottom. I will be mowing, plowing...
I am looking on deere.com for a way to see what I am pre-approved for before I go to the dealer. It seems the only thing I can find is the "revolving credit" application. I'm assuming that deere also has a product financing for the actual tractor and the revolving credit option is only used for...
Just a price check on a jd 2320 with a 62" mmm, BH, and a BH. I live in upstate ny about 20 miles from binghamton. Also can the 2320 run full size implements like a brush hog or post hole auger or would I need to buy smaller implements. The tractor will be used for mowing 2 acres weekly and 5...
I am debating between the kubota bx 25 and the jd 2320. The kabota is nice because it comes with a FEL and BH for a good price. The only thing holding me back is the ground clearance and that the bx can not use full size implements.
I was wondering if anyone could give me a price range for a...
Im considering buying a bx25 for my 10 acre plot. about 7 Acres of this land is field and or lawn which would be mowed on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. The tractor would be needed for mowing (probably a 60" MMM), plowing snow (about a 60 yard driveway) Ocassional digging and trenching, carrying...
