    backhoe question.

This is a good point. Putting a 3PH backhoe back on the tractor can be difficult sometime. Maybe most of the time? That is another advantage of the subframe backhoe. Overall easier. I have over the years read of people buying used subframe backhoes and later realizing they need a subframe to...

What to do after rollover and hydrolock

I think that may be a second "most important" piece of advice... Most important being: Wear you seat belt as much as possible, ESPECIALLY if on slopes, and double that if the ground is wet or moist, etc. The ROPS can act as a mouse trap, with you being the mouse pinned between the ROPS and...

    backhoe question.

The best way is certainly using a subframe backhoe. No question at all on my mind (like the others). The easiest way is probably a three-point hitch backhoe. They can be reliable and used without damage to the tractor **if they are installed properly**. The ones that were used on Kubota...

Mahindra PTO seal keeps coming out

Might be time to check the shaft to ensure it is running true, as suggested by DarkBlack in post #6.

    Rear Axle Seal Leak (BX2200)

I was curious about how the axle came out if a seal needs replaced. Seems you would pry out the seal, remove the external snap ring, then pull the axle/bearing combination out. Simple enough. Of course the bearing has to come off in order to position the new seal on the axle shaft.

Sorry but it is a bit strange to post the same question twice in different threads on the same site…

    Bent bucket roll cylinders

Certainly true. Problem being is cylinder rods are not really designed for compressive force when fully extended. In tension there’s no issue. If one back drags with a bucket tilted fully down and the bucket cylinders fully extended. He is certainly asking for trouble. Especially if he catches...

Mowing Replacement Mower Blades for BX

Frankly, rather than resurrect a 15-year-old plus thread, it would probably make sense in the future to just post the new question as a new thread… Reason being when someone sees it is such an old thread, they may not bother to go to the end and see what the most recent post is Just a bit of...

    BX2200 Starter Issue

Where did you mount the relay? I mounted mine on the frame rather than on the engine where is would be subjected to lots of vibration. Figured it would last longer that way. A relay is an electro-mechanical device, so expected to fail eventually. Especially if subjected to the "death rattle"...

Using the clutch with a Kubota HST tractor...

Aside from a relatively smooth start if using my rotary cutter, the most useful feature of the foot clutch that I noticed, is the ability to stop the post hole auger at the bottom of the hole, raise it, and then engage the clutch again, spinning the spoils away from the hole, resulting in a...
