I have a 2004 CK30 from new that has always worked in the 6 -10 range . With the small factory lever it was had to raise and lower . so I built an extion that slipps over the short lever and now it's much easer to use !

Were they putting some of the tires on going the wrong way ?

1200 - 1500 rpm at start ! Yikes ! I would never let it rev that high at start !

So your fuel supply - do you buy 5 gal at a time or have a tank of it ? Try a different source of fuel ?

How old is the Battery ? Just because you have 12.4 v. doesn't mean it's good ! Try jumping it .

I put on a pressure gauge so I know what the pressure is .

Looks like you need to set the rear wheel up one notch so the mower sets flat - 1/2" off the ground at all 4 corners .

I have a CK 30 - Idle is around 1000 rpm.

I did not understand the logic of building a CK 27 ? They already had the CK 30 !

After changing the Trans./Hyd. oil on our CK-30 Hst I now have 7 gallons of nice looking oil . Anyone know if this woud work as Chainsaw bar-oil ? Or any other good use for it ?
