I am not 100% sure, but that's not 'admin' (which is a real account that no one logs into) but rather the forum is showing the Admin username on someone we delete and it's defaulting to the 'first' user in the database. It's definitely not a REAL account named Admin that's making any new posts...

Hello Everyone, Just letting you know that we have to take down the server for a short time (around an hour) and the site will be unavailable starting around 11pm Eastern, 8pm Pacific. -Ibrahim

I'm working on some stuff today that may or may not improve this. But it's also something that just happens from time to time. Timeouts cannot be eliminated perfectly all the time but we'll do our best to minimize them and avoid those errors.

Actually I tweaked the database timeouts and have been adjusting them. They reset yesterday (to something very short) and so I adjusted them again today and will check to see if it goes away. I'm a good 80% sure that's the problem, but we'll have to see.

Yes, almost always it's an issue on our server side if it's a DB issue. There are SOME situations where an ISP might mess up and cause errors, but it happens so rarely it's not the first thing we look at. If you ever seen TBN just spinning and failing to load, test other sites first and if they...

Thanks for posting, I'll keep an eye out for what might be causing it. Unfortunately, these errors sometimes are timeout related, and aren't easy to nail down. But I'll keep watching.

As a side note: Firefox is a great browser and Yes, it should also have /forums/ at the end now. But there was a very brief window of time where your browser snagged that default index file and is displaying that instead of the proper file that makes sure we redirect to the /forums/ But did...

This is a cache issue. You shouldn't be seeing that page, obviously, but it's pulling from a cached version. Firefox can be really stubborn trying to clear the cache (I know, because I use FF.) if you can't clear the cache specifically for TBN, try adding "index.php" or 'index.htm' to the end...

Hello Everyone, Just wanted to let you know that I'll have to shut down the server that TBN is on for a short time tonight to do some maintenance. Shouldn't be very long and it won't happen until around Midnight Eastern Time (9pm Pacific Time)

I can't view the attachments, and I don't use the app too often (I use my PC which I sit at, lol) A lot of forums and apps (even Reddit) will repeat threads while you scroll their site, and I think it has to do with updates to the list while you're browsing. Say the app loads the thread list...

I'm looking into some things with the server's ability to send email to all domains. I did send another password reset to you (through admin) but I'm not 100% sure it'll go through. I'll give it another try in an hour. (You're still at the hotmail.com address as your main, right?)
