    Also I checked and rechecked the hydraulic level it was good before, during, and after the tests. I did note that the hoses were not real hot and they were not just warm but somewhere in the middle. I'm thinking that is normal. Thanks again for all the good advice.

When operating the backhoe it vibrates and shakes. took to the local guy and after $100 all I got was a report on the pump. "just over 6 gallons per minute at a pressure of 2200 psi".     Well it was in August 2018 when I first posted this idea I had. As you can tell thing don't move too fast around here. But things do get done. Next is a log lift and a table. Maybe this spring.

    I'm considering converting a Wallingstein WX310 (cylinder is 4''X 2''X 24'') by adding a motor, pump, and oil tank. Any advise on HP and GPM? Thanks

    Keeping busy

    Been retired for 8 years and just rescued a 2002 John Deere 4110. Best part is the 2015 200CX front end loader. Has 4 wheel drive, power steering, and is a hydro. It has 2001 hours on it but still starts every time and everything works. Also picked up a Wallenstein WX310 log splitter. Not sure...
