Hello I've just bought some parts for the fuel pump on my perkins 4.236 , and they mixed up the springs , so i got two little transfer pressure regulating spring that's 6mm in diameter instead of a 10.6mm in diameter ;Lucas CAV DPA, DPS and DP200 transfer pressure spring - Diesel Injection...

i used vinegar cause i didn't have diesel and didn't want to use water , there not holes or cracks .

Ok right night , i thought i would try it again with the cylinders and so i put vinegar in them , and for some reason all but one stayed full . does that mean theyre all right after all ?

Right , so i got the piston rings yesterday and put the pistons back in and the balancer .Then today i've finished cleaning the head and the gasket and lapped some of the valves cause they weren't sealing , so i got them sealing better but not perfect . so i put the head on and injectors but not...

Hey Ok so i took them all out again dipped them in oil and put them back in , and so i had put number 1 and 4 in and tightened the bolts as har as i could and it was rotating fine , i could rotate it with a spaner then i put number 2 in. It went down the cylinder alright but when i tightened...

Ok thanks for the guide i will try it . i did connect negative to the shaft and positive to the copper and there was no connection . Iforgot the dip rwo of the pistonsin oil before putting them in . Would that be it ? i did put oil in the cylinders and bearings
