Mine takes a minute to stop the transmission before I can engage without grinding. Make sure you push clutch all the way down and wait. Been that was since new. Also echo what @hodge says.

I not had any problem with mine so far. Like mentioned above might us some Biocide once in awhile. I add in the winter if we don't get much snow and it sits.

Many come with hydraulic oil in front of axle. I had some leaking. Did some reading on Kioti forum and checked with my dealer and a lot of guys switched it to 80w90. When I did mine I switched it to 80w90 and have had no problems and no leaking.
