Who has put extra lights on their tractors? I have an open station RK55 and am going to add LED lights on the ROP. A light bar across the top is preferred, but I don't really want to drill holes and introduce water access, eventually leading to rust. Looking to possible use the existing...
Looking into getting a disc mower for hay. I am just guessing that 7 ft is probably about the max for a 55. Mostly flat field with one small hill area, but will not be cutting across the slope.
Any experiences?
Thanks.
This tractor has done pretty much everything I have asked of it. My only complaint: the 3 point lift sucks. A lot of my work is in horse riding arenas. To keep the ground as level as possible, you have to constantly micro-manage the 3 point lever to adjust the implement height. It is not...
Yesterday while using my 55, it hit the magical 50 hour mark. When I got it back to the barn, it had 50.3 hours and dash symbol showed in an automatic regen. I left it run for about 20 minutes. The regen icon never went away. Called the local RK tech, he said to bring RPM up to 1500 and it...
I know there is an adjustment to control the lowering speed of 3pt implements, but...
Is there any adjustments to quicken the react time when raising? I use this tractor to work my horse arena. My hand is always on the 3pt lever to constantly adjust the arena tool (see profile pic) up and...
Not on the site a whole lot, but thought I should share my new "toy."
Does everything I need it to. Everyone has their own opinions, but I cannot see paying a few thousand more for some other tractors.
I have had a CC (Yanmar) 32HP for about 7 years now. It is a great tractor. Wife and I just bought 18 acres and will be needing a bigger tractor. Been looking at a few and pretty much decided on an RK55S or RK55SC.
Wondered if there are an 55 owners in Scott, Clark, or Jeff counties that...
Doing my first oil change on EX3200 today. Did a filter look up on Wix then crossed it over to a Bosch (O'Reilly's had Bosch on sale). Came up with Bosch 3312 oil filter. Anyone know if this is correct? When I change it, I will do a close inspection. Oddly, this filter is used for 1982...
