Does anyone have an easy way to remove snow from equipment after use

I clean off my tractor with a front plow and rear blower before I put it in the heated shop. That minimizes the water that collects. Then I squeegee that out the front door. I use a short scrub brush with stiff plastic bristles and a 8" drywall knife. The knife makes quick work of the plow face...

Where do you park your tractor when not in use, inside/outside/Covered outside?

The first few years it lived under a tarp. I felt sorry for it so I added a lean to and that's where it lives now.

    Shop Air Compressor Maintenance Question

I installed a 1/4 turn ball valve on my drain. Whenever I use my compressor I give it a quick turn to open it and drain any condensate.

    Snow plowing season started.

I only had 3 inches of wet snow with the same soft ground. I really like a nice dry freeze before we get snow.

    Driveway help

I am not an expert but with your attachments I think it could be done. Think eating an elephant, a little bit at a time. Depending on your road surface and compaction try the land plane first if the surface is loose enough. If it doesn't scrape enough to fill the dips then try the box blade and...

    Dealer improvement?

Luckily I haven't had to go to my dealer for quite a while. They are always friendly and helpful, a shout out to Jordan Sales. (y):)

    You Have a Cab?

I have an open cab on my tractor but I only use it about 20-30% of the time for snow removal. I use my full cab and heated SxS for most of my snow moving.

    Landscape edging around foundation

I used crushed basalt over doubled weed cloth around my perimeter and used softball size basalt rocks to form a border between the crushed and my grass. I like the "rustic" look of the irregular rocks since I live in the forest and no one but my wife and I see it. I did use a 16' piece of...

    UTV's and ATV's general discussion.

Faster than using the tractor bucket, two rows deep and tilt bed to drop them off by the splitter.

    TYM over heating

Is the radiator clear because it's all water and not 50/50 with antifreeze?

    New SXS

I'm glad you like your Moto. I bought a Uforce 1000 last fall to work around the property and plow snow. No complaints so far

    Keep or sell grinder?

Unless you have plenty of room in your shop I would say 2 is enough. Many of my tool decisions are based on how much real estate something takes up in my shop now.

What did you buy this week?

I bought a new pump for my our Bosch washing machine. Why does it always go together better the morning after you spend an hour wrestling with it? You Tube University had multiple videos on how to replace the pump but none of them were my exact model so I could not get as much clearance to get...

What is some of your Pet Peeve's

Ok, I read the first five pages and the last three and didn't see my pet peeve so here goes. I love dogs but when did it become common practice to bring your dog everywhere you go? Your dog does not belong in the grocery store on a leash or in the kids seat unless it is a real service animal...
