    Massey 275 rebuild

If you buy a new pump it will be chinesium and you'll likely have to pay someone to set up the fuel amounts anyways. Will it work? Maybe. I paid $800 to rebuild my 135 pump. That's with keeping the original head, front gear, and bottom half. The rest was new including the top cover. Having a...

Fuel tank replacement for a MF 135

Taken from another forum: AGCO P/N 1079398M91 SENDING UNIT IS NON ADJUSTING. P/N 506273M1 IS USED IF THE FUEL TANK IS 6" DEEP SENDING UNIT IS ADJUSTABLE. Measure how deep your fuel tank is Some are 9" deep, some are 6" deep. These are the only two sending units listed for US. 135's. I have...

Price of rear remotes and TnT for Kubota B-series

I paid $1828 for 2 float valves installed at the dealer. I would say your price is fair. Float is so both links can float like the front end loader can. Not required but recommended by most. It does have some downsides as the valves can leak down over time.

Massey 135 diesel fuel sender, 6" tank

I picked up the new sender from the agco dealer and tested it with my volt meter. It is the correct range of 30-200 ohms. It has a really long float that can be trimmed down. Not sure why this would be listed for a 150 or 165 and not a 135. Maybe because the smaller 135 tanks were only around...

Massey 135 diesel fuel sender, 6" tank

Found the serial number tag behind the air cleaner. Starts with SDM which I have read on this forum is not a US serial number. The tag also says united states on it. Cast date on the oil pan is 64.

Massey 135 diesel fuel sender, 6" tank

Here's a picture. No wires to be found. Only indentifer i have found is it has 5 screw holes. Nobody mentions the ohms when they are selling. Found another leak at the fuel shutoff valve. Bunch of different parts for various iterations of the 135, and since i have no serial number I'll have to...

Massey 135 diesel fuel sender, 6" tank

I've been slowly fixing up my new to me old 135. It has no serial number plate but i was told it's late 60s. I tested the fuel gauge by removing the single wire to the sender and grounding that post. To my surprise the needle went to full. I thought maybe a bad wire so I removed the wire from...

    135 Alternator/wiring

I ordered a new 63 amp alternator from DB electrical for about $55. I ordered an alternator bracket from yesterday's tractors that said it would work for massey ferguson. It cost almost as much as the alternator. It has better tension but its still hard to get it super tight. It self excites...

    135 Alternator/wiring

Cleaned and tested the alternator again. .88V at full throttle, no change with the screwdriver. I dont think i can fit a shorter belt on it. It was very difficult to get this one on due to the mount design. I noticed a lower adjustment arm that they used to have attached. I was told it...

    135 Alternator/wiring

I had to jump my 135 yesterday to get it going. I noticed the output wire of the alternator was broken where it attaches to the lug/main wire. The battery cables are tied to the starter for positive and block for negative. The wires then go to the amps gauge. This gauge does not work. It has a...

    Price Check  135 oil leak

I recently purchased this tractor from my father in law. He said there has been an oil leak for a long time and he just checks both the engine oil and hyd oil before each run because it would require alot of work to fix. Tractor runs fine, the only thing i noticed is after running for a long...

Quick Hitches Removing PTO from bush hog

I ended up buying a new shaft for 170. Time is money and with a 2 year old and a full time job and everything else in life it was worth it to me. I also try to be as safe as possible. I did not cut the shaft because it has about 12" of overlap before the covers bottom out. I started out in 1L...
