Help me decide, 3 trucks I need to pick 1 from.

Either truck will do the job. If they are selling the Ram as new the warranty won't start until it is registered to the owner. With only 300 miles I would give it a close look. I know it is crazy but I looked at a 2016 Impala that had 40 thousand miles on it. It was a dealer demo and never been...

Buying an excavator with resale in mind

Unless you find one that has been owned and used by the owner I would never buy used. They are just like trucks the people who work for the owner don't care and beat them to death.

Looking for best quality/price for 48" rotary tiller with adjustable tilling depth

I have a Pittsburgh Taylor unless they have changed it is made in the USA. Parts are easy to get. Just my opinion. Any of them will do the job. Look in your tractors owners manual and see what size they recommend as max. That means a lot. Also before you till out the grass mow it as short as you...

No, I am NOT going to try to take down a dead 100' Hickory tree!

Good decision. I have almost bought the farm a couple of times and I cut trees a lot. When they are dead you never really know which way they will go.

Mold and grass buildup on mower deck underside

I agree with everyone else. There is nothing you can put on that will stay and keep the grass from sticking. I mow 5 yards a week and usually just clean my mower deck every 3 - 4 mowings. Used to spray vegtable oil or WD40 on the under side of the deck. Did no good. Best to just buy a long...

1st time at my new property & 1st time ever brush-hogging - some lessons learned

You need a bigger tractor. I would suggest a Pat's quick hitch setup. It works on any implement and you have to get off and hook up the PTO anyway.

    Should I buy this truck?

Having worked on trucks this size and larger for a living many years ago I would leave it alone. It is a business truck and knowing people it was probably beat to death every time someone other than the owner drove it. It is also not what you really wanted. Don't do a settle for. It may be fine...

Zero turn vs. 4X4 tractor for mowing

I am in the same situation. Mow about the same amount. So reluctantly I bought a zero turn. I hate the darn thing. Even when creeping along every time I turn it tears up the yard. If I could trade it and get a reasonable amount for it I would in a minute. My 4x4 tractor that is only used for...

    New fuel can comments.

Go to ezpour.com and order one of their fill spouts. They come with two caps with different threads for different cans. If by chance neither fit your old cap will work with their spout. It also comes with a vent that you have to drill a hole for in the back of the can. They work great. It is...

    Electric pressure washer reviews

I prefer the gas powered. I have never found an electric one with as much pressure as the gas ones. They may make them but I have never found one. Plus I don't like working with electric cords around water.

2 post or 4 post vehicle lift ideas

Hey airborne brother. I would go with the 4 post just for the stability but in the long run do what you think is best. The two post is a pain to get in and out of the vehicle. I am sure a local repair shop would let you experiment with one to see which you like. I know IF money were no object I...

2 post or 4 post vehicle lift ideas

Hey, airborne brother. I would go with the 4 post just for the stability. I also would have the bathroom access in the shop not the office. But what it comes down to is you do what you think is best for you.

Mount chain saw on loader for limb trimming

No but I use a pallet on forks to cut them.
