    Huber maintainer-anyone got one?

If you are every riding through, check out the Huber museum in Marion, Ohio. They have some of their tractors and the maintainers like yours. Side note they also have a lot of memorabilia from Marion Power Shovel.

Backhoe valve body leak, repair, now real stiff controls

Do the spools move freely when the tractor is off? It sounds to me like your tank is not hooked up correctly or there is some kind of restriction in the tank line. This would also cause the valve to feel stiff and seals to blow.

MF 231S Lift arms will not lower

I would say Harry is correct because the 3-point hitch is gravity down. Having said that, it could also be the draft control linkage is screwed up. I had that happen on an Oliver and the lift arm were always up until I fixed the linkage.

D03 valve -vs- manifold flow rates, and series flow route

The other problem with a DO3 is that is essentially a industrial valve you are putting in a hostile environment on your tractor. MOST D03 are on/off too and when you go to proportional, they get spendy and you don't have a whole lot of control. I would consider a mobile orientated sectional...

Does this look like it has float?

Looking at the picture of the spool, I would say it does not have float and not much controllability either. Float spools normally will have a fourth land and I only see three in the picture. There are also no metering notches in that spool so it is essentially on/off. I would hate to try to...

    Control size for loader pump

If you want to go through the effort, you can calculate the displacement of a gear pump through the dimension of the gears. Insanehydaulics.com (I can't make this stuff up :)) has a nice online calculator for doing this: Gear Pump Calculator Taking lennyzx11 comments one step further, if you...

Adding rear remotes, what kind should I get?

I think you are on the right path. For the snow/dozer blade (depending on how the mount is) I would want the float for plowing snow and back dragging.

    Hydraulic hookups

We really need a little more detail. Do you have a separate loader valve that you are running off the rear remotes or are you running the loader off the rear remotes? If you are running a second valve off the rear remotes, you have to be very careful to get the direction (P and T) right...

    Dexter Axle question

I have a 7K Dexter (8-bolt) axle with brakes that I need to replace the wheel studs on. Does anybody know if these are pressed-in or threaded-in? I would like to know what I am getting into before I tear everything apart. This is on a 1995 Corn Pro 20 & 5 flatbed. Thanks!

    Ford 6000 Steering Issues

We are working on Ford 6000 that the power steering is not working. Pressure test shows it only has 800 psi when the steering dead-headed one direction. We have the pump off and it looks to me that the relief valve is stuck closed but the bypass piston is free in the bore. The oil had a lot...

NAA Radiator - Replace or Repair?

Need some opinions. While pushing some brush with my loader, I poked a stick through the radiator. This left about a 1/2 inch hole in it and I am debating whether I should have it fixed or just replace it with an aftermarket unit. My guess is that price wise it will be about the same...

    NAA w/ Freeman Loader Color

I want to paint my Ford NAA with a Freeman loader on it. However, the loader does not have any paint on it and I can't ever remember it having paint (it has been in the family a long time.) Does anybody know what color is should be? If not, I am just going to paint it Ford Red.
