    trailering your utility tractors

    Depends on trailer. In my dump trailer it gets 2 3500# axle style ratchet straps. On my tilt trailer it gets chains and binders (2) on the rear, those same straps on the front (2)

    I went this way for a few reasons. It’s always there and no transporting an extra attachment to jobs, etc were the biggest reasons.

    Yup, it’s never coming out again…..lol I’ve taken it out at each of the 3 hydra fluid changes and there’s never anything on it. The dealer mechanic was successful in getting a new one in.

    800 hr hydro service and that F’in aluminum filter got me….. Was not cross threaded, went in about 1/4 of the way and about 3 threads just snapped off. Best I can figure there was a price of debris in the threads.

    That’s the biggest aggravation with the “chucks in a truck”. Not only do they make it hard for all legitimate contractors to bid/win jobs, they’re not really making any money on top of it.

    Ok? I’ve done it both ways. When starting out I did hourly $80 per. Once I legitimized and had a lot more overhead, that became unsustainable. Minimum is now $300. That 20 minute job would have grossed $80 before, now grosses at least $300. There is no legitimate contractor that bids hourly...
