I bought something or other from them, don't remember what. Oils/filters for the Massey I mostly bought from Roudebush.
not used them yet but got the link saved :)

The new pulley is not identical to the original. The original had an offset and the belt ran dead center but the replacement is not offset and the belt runs at the bottom of the pulley. Why the change?

After a couple of hard days moving tree trunks and branches went and gave her a rinse.

800 hr hydro service and that F’in aluminum filter got me…..

Was not cross threaded, went in about 1/4 of the way and about 3 threads just snapped off.

Best I can figure there was a price of debris in the threads.

put pallet forks on. placed a 130lb 15K btu window AC into a window. then greased the DL100 loader. got one pin (iirc 25$ part and 6 minutes to replace) making noise so next week gonna pull all cylinder pins from FEL clean them then regrease them.
also rotated large horse manure compost pile, set it so flat on top to grab the incoming rain. presently 6ft high 16ft wide and 28 feet long. gonna grab more pretty soon, this stuff coming up into the 2 yr period which is where I mix into garden. NEVER put fresh horse manure into a garden. you will not like the results. bunch of crap will grow and be 2 feet high in 4 weeks. prob is it ain't your crops LOL

The suction screen is designed to keep any debris that are in the system, at the bottom of the sump.

If you haven't done any repairs, and you removed the screen for the initial fluid change, I wouldn't worry about taking it out. Yes, they can get cross threaded, and break.

You would have performance issues, if there was a restriction there.

If it's not broke, don't break it.

Yup, it’s never coming out again…..lol

I’ve taken it out at each of the 3 hydra fluid changes and there’s never anything on it.

The dealer mechanic was successful in getting a new one in.

Burning stumps, brush and rounds from a fallen tree. Using my Homestead Implements grapple to move everything to the burn pile. What a fantastic attachment.

So it appears that these grapples require the SSQA Universal Quick-Attach system to mount...yes? (I still have the original M-F pin-type attachment for my FEL.)

Currently I use a Bro-Tek thumb on my BH for handling logs, but a grapple on the front seems like it might be more useful.

Enjoy burning there in NY. There won't be any burning here in Ohio for awhile. Hasn't rained in days and none in sight.

It's dry enough here I have to be careful working the saw and tractor.
Did get to move around some logs yesterday though.

Last weekend (memorial day) we moved about 30 ton of gravel. Had another 20 ton or so delivered. Only moved around 5ton or so yesterday before it got too hot (low 90's).

I'm already pushing the little 1705, don't want to kill it

I went this way for a few reasons.

It’s always there and no transporting an extra attachment to jobs, etc were the biggest reasons.

Debris forks and the backhoe with thumb is how I do it too.
