    BX1500 OPERATING TEMPERATURE

Wow that's great info thx! My thermostat needs replacement then. Diesels get carbonded up running at low temps.

    BX1500 OPERATING TEMPERATURE

570 hrs, runs fine, just that temp guage needle never moves more than about 1/8" up from cold even when run hard. Needle does fall back when ignition is turned off, so that part works. Where should the temp be? Thinking about changing thermostat.

BX1500: using med mower and rear tiller back and forth

I can't find the thread but some months ago I asked for help in being able to lower my mower to mow while still have a 32" tiller attached at the rear. The anser is you CAN in a sense use the mid mower with a tiller attached by judicious use of the top lock knob for the hydraujlic lift. You you...

BX1500 Tiller and Mower Both Mounted

Well Eagle1 in response to your emphatic statements I did try something I'd never tried b4 on the BX1500. I pulled the lift control LEVER all the way back to lift both mower and tiller, and turned the lift control KNOB under my right hand to lock everything. I think I turned CCW to lock it, not...

BX1500 Tiller and Mower Both Mounted

Mmmm not a description of my situation, but I wish it were. Visited Kubota dealer this morning on another subject and checked out new ones for fun.

BX1500 Tiller and Mower Both Mounted

Thanks for the ideas! Go from the top instead of lifting from the bottom! A faint memory came to mind after reading these replies and I checked further: THERE ARE HEAVY LUGS AT THE TOP SIDES WHERE YOU CAN disconnect the top of the lift arms and connect them to a solid point on the chassis! I...

BX1500 Tiller and Mower Both Mounted

Thanks but it is physically important to me to find a way to not do that! Has to do with age. I anticipate mowing and tilling to go on together for months.

BX1500 Tiller and Mower Both Mounted

So I have a new Hamney 32" tiller (toolots.com) mounted and my normal center mower is still there. I tilled the small garden fine with the mower set up high. Worked fine; I could lower the tiller yet the mower was still high enough not to drag. But I know when I go to use just the mower alone...

    CK30HST oil change--can I use a oil suction pump?

Thanks all, just lazy and thought somebody might have done it with the CK30. -Can't use fill hole, no access to crankcase for tube -I agree on effectiveness; same here; nothing came out of the drain hole of a a VW or a Lambardini diesel with the extractor, not a drop.

    CK30HST oil change--can I use a oil suction pump?

I haven't changed the oil in a long time. In the meanwhile I got an oil suction pump: Amazon.com: FIRSTINFO A1102USY5 US. DE. Patent 6.5L Pneumatic/Manual Oil Extractor Pump for Automobile Fluids Vacuum Evacuation w/Hose Storage & 3.5 x 4.5mm Hose & Sealing Cap: Automotive This works great on...

3-Point Hitch  BX1500: Using mid mower with rear 3pt scoop mounted

Hi, I'd like to keep the BX1500 mid mower and a small rear 3pt scoop mounted at the same time, but I need to somehow keep the scoop from going too low and hitting the ground when I lower the mower. I've tried all the adjustments, and even made a shorter top support out of a 2x4, but nothing...

Woods BH-80X backhoe drip from bottom of control valve

So after some relatively heavy work with the Kioti CK30HST and the Woods BH-80 backhoe I notice some hydraulic fluid on the ground, 5 oz or so under the backhoe. I see a fairly constant drip under one of the control valve segments.. What does this mean please, anyone who has been through it...
