Loader In Free Fall, Ford 770A

Success! WD40 got it twitching, 3 in 1 oil with extended lube tube made it easy. Underneath the mess of valves, body/housing and hoses it was. Got the manure spread, tilled a pile of compost, then it rained. I am thankful.

Loader In Free Fall, Ford 770A

Barely, locks out valve functions. Looks like a set of linkages below the valve controls. Of course they are underneath, contortionist required..

Exactly. Cannot raise the loader. Loader is stuck in float.

Pushed the loader control lever forward and it releases, free float to back drag. Problem is, no release.... had to back all the way to the tool area. Any solution ideas?

1/2" Flat Face Quick Connect Question

Got a Frost Bite Log Grapple, came with 2 male 1/2" couplers. Need one female. The threads on the hose are 1/2" FPT, the new coupler is 1/2" NPT about 0.030" difference by my calipers. Anyone know about this?

Need a grapple for my tractor... help me spend some money. :)

Got a 48" single cylinder grapple off FleaBay's Attachment Depot years ago, now they are $1400, love it, BUT I dropped a log loading to the log deck of the firewood processor. Good thing I told the helper to get back. Just the way it is configured, not worth the cost of changing it, a great...

Log Grapple, Frost Bite and Does It Need Teeth?

Did the shopping, ordered a Frost Bite GR-2o, put it together and it is looking good. I see the holes where teeth would bolt up, wondering if teeth are needed. As a low volume user, not likely the lower jaw would wear enough to justify, any opinions?

Dealer selling a trade in, that is all. Messes look bad, bad for bidness. Work it may, shine it must.

Where to Buy a Front Farm Tire Kubota 8.3-16?

Good for you. The 2 tires cost $327 installed with new valves, old tires disposed of. Installer said the rims looked new, tractor is over 20 years old. The tires were overnighted from 2 different locations. I got to plow a new storm the 2nd day after I called, would have been screwed otherwise.

Where to Buy a Front Farm Tire Kubota 8.3-16?

It was. Would have been funnier if it had happened to someone else. :) Today's install went very well. The tire guy was impressive, an old guy with a limp, new valves, cleaned the wheels, put some waterless install goo to seal it up good, man did he move efficiently! A craftsman that earned his...

Where to Buy a Front Farm Tire Kubota 8.3-16?

Called Kubota, they send all tires out to a commercial outfit, nothing in house. Tire size changed to 8 x 16, $116 ++. Ordered 2, last time guy asked if I wanted 2, naaa, other tire looks good. When I got home with the new tire mounted, the other was flat...
