This rock lifted the front end of a Kubota L45 up in the air. .....but my little DX33 got it up the hill. :)

Got home later than I wanted to from work, but was still able to get home in time to get everything back together. Started. Moved. Spun the PTO without issue with no load. Need to adjust the levers, top off the oil, torque the right rear wheel.....and she should be done...

Sorry it took an extra day or two.....but here's all the manual says. It's actually a very simple procedure if you've adjusted the valves on anything else before. Just make sure to have some form-a-gasket or a new valve cover gasket.

Found a few small pieces of metal that had migrated towards the portal/brake assemblies. So that housing came off to get cleaned out. Overal, it all looks pretty good. No real other damage. Just trying to make sure that I can get all of the metal out.

Jammer.... A fair number of hours to get to that point and I found a bunch of other little items I want to tidy up....but it does beat having the dealer do it and sure beats the price of a new one. Because of the height, this is all the bigger I can go and get it in my garage. Wanna...

Found the problems I think.....

Just another short update. Just worked on it for about an hour tonight. Got the rest of the ROPS off and the remotes off

So my PTO has been chattering for a bit and no is occasionally kicking itself out of gear. So I pull the Mid-PTO assembly off to find what appears to be some small pieces of gear in the bottom of the case. She'll start coming apart tomorrow...... UGH! :thumbdown:

It looks like I have to pull apart the rear end of my Case DX33 (think of it as a red TC33DA.). To get the fenders off.....how do the balls on the ends of the selector levers (rear and mid PTO, 3point and hydraulic remote controls, etc) off? I see no fasteners on them and it doesn't look...

Does anyone have a service manual for a TC33/29/35/30? I need the PTO section

I've got a 2004 Case/IH DX33 (think of it as a red TC33DA) When running the PTO, I get a "chattering" that's consistent with the RPM of the engine. It's not the implement or the shaft as it does it with a number of different implements that I've used. It's sometimes hard to engage also...
