With this loader about 95% of what I do is move round bales. It's got a good lift capacity so I'd also like to be able to lift pallets with it. The last time I tried to lift a 2000' pallet with clamp on forks is what really made the current bucket start to tear apart. I figured I'd go SSQA...
Not a great picture but circled is a massive split in the bucket and those lines I drew are where the bucket is so thin it's collapsing also.
I'm wondering about using the existing bracket because it would to be in a straight line to weld onto a SSQA adapter. Thoughts on cutting it straight?
I'll get a picture up, the bucket is pretty trashed. Plus I like the idea of bringing the load closer to the tractor and the increased visibility when moving round bales.
There's a few hundred SSQA plates available online but they don't have brackets, probably because there's 1 bazillion bracket configurations. Which leads us pack to my post, cut off and weld on my original bracket or is there a pin bracket available I should weld on?
The bucket is falling apart on my Ford 3600. I'd like to convert it to quick attach. Should I cut the mounts off my bucket and have those welded on or is there a mount piece I can buy for pins that can be welded on?
Thanks, I'm still googling it and figuring out how it works and that seems to be the conclusion that I'm coming to. Any recommendations for a valve type? I'm thinking single spool open center like this?v 1 Spool 10 GPM Chief 220906 DA Hydraulic Valve | Directional Control Valves | Hydraulic...
Massey 275, came with this old diverter valve on it. Right now I'm just trying to spin a bale wrapper. I ran lines as pictured below and so far I can only get the wrapper to spin one direction. I did some googling and this is what I found.
"Lever back = oil pressure upper back port
Lever center...
Menards 24x50 pole barn. They include a box a 60d 6" nails and don't tell you how many you need to use. I'm wanting to use Spax construction lags instead of the nails.
So here's my thinking, 25lb snow load, 10lb dead weight, add in a buffer, so lets say 40lbs x 24 x 50 = 48000lbs of potential...
Barn has an existing shingle roof and cupola. I'm going over top of the shingles with metal. Been googling it and can't find a reference on how to flash the cupola. Best I can figure is that I need to remove it, put down the metal and then reinstall it so the flashing sits on top of the new...
Alright, finally got to messing with it. It would not tap black into place with a wood block and hammer. Tried with a piece of aluminum and a hammer and it went back in pretty easily. Some water did come out as I pushed the ring in. Moved a round bale with it today and nothing seems to be any...
I've owned this tractor for quite a while and just noticed this ring slightly popping out of the loader cylinder. Do I give it a little tap or let it be since it's still working?
